Scope of Services
Malin provides website hosting, domain registration, email services, and related technical support.
Invoicing & Payment
Invoices are payable within 15 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is missed, Malin reserves the right to suspend access to hosting, email, and website services after this period.
A £200 reconnection fee will apply to cover administrative and technical reactivation.
Statutory interest of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus fixed late fees (£40–£100), will be applied in line with UK legislation.
Domain Ownership & Renewal
Domains registered or managed by Malin remain under Malin’s administrative control unless formally transferred.
Ownership will not be released until full payment is received for associated services.
If a domain-related invoice remains unpaid for more than 15 days, Malin reserves the right to suspend, redirect, or transfer the domain at its discretion.
Acceptable Use
Services must not be used for unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or harmful purposes.
Malin reserves the right to suspend or terminate services without notice if these terms are breached or credible complaints are received.
Suspension & Termination
If payment is missed, services may be suspended after 15 days, with a £200 reconnection fee applied.
Hosted data may be permanently deleted 14 days after suspension, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Malin reserves the right to retain administrative control of any domain registered on your behalf until the account is fully settled.
Limitation of Liability
Malin aims to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime or data retention.
We are not liable for losses due to downtime, expired domains, or third-party failures.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the relevant term.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes to these terms of use
These terms may be updated periodically. You will be notified of changes by email or via our website.
Continued use of services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
